A Career in Early Childhood Education

In Australia, there is a very high demand for ACCCO graduates. The Early Education service is booming and the demand upon children’s service providers increases annually.

The sector provides a solid foundation for a graduate to commence a rewarding career and a wonderful lifestyle in Australia. Early childhood educators support the development of children through appropriate developmental learning opportunities. They are responsible for providing a safe and healthy environment for children between the ages of six weeks to school age. Early childhood educators support the development of children in their care by supporting families, observing ethical and legal responsibilities, using creative play, interacting with children in a meaningful and constructive way and programming developmentally appropriate experiences to promote learning.

As a trained education professional, you will not only have a career which empowers and shapes the future of up-and-coming generations, but you will also have a stable career. By training in these areas you can give yourself great opportunities for employment while experiencing the joys of working with children and young people. ACCCO training positively impacts the careers of our graduates, enhances the quality of education in industry, and enhances the care provided to children. Our qualifications are developed to provide practical experience that you can take into the workplace and have greater confidence when you are gaining employment.
