An Upfront Assessment (called upfront assessment of needs) is a short assessment completed after you submit your enrolment form. It helps us make sure the course is right for you and identify any support you may need to succeed.
It usually includes:
- A check that the course is the right fit for you
- A simple language, literacy, and numeracy assessment
- A discussion about any support you may need while studying
The assessment is not a test you can “fail”. It is used to make sure you are ready for the course and to provide extra support if needed. We’ll send you the details and instructions after you submit your enrolment form
