Choosing the right training provider is an important decision. Let your Apprentice Connect Australia Provider (such as MEGT or MAS National or any other) know that you would like ACCCO as your preferred training provider.
ACCCO supports progress through to completion
Your ACCCO Trainer works with your trainee and your service to provide guidance, coaching, mentoring, workplace assessment and ongoing support to help keep the traineeship on track through to completion.

ACCCO supports early childhood services to develop their educators through nationally recognised early childhood qualifications.
CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Certificate III is the foundation qualification for educators working in early childhood services.
By supporting your trainee to complete Certificate III, you are developing an educator with the skills and knowledge to contribute confidently to your service.
Your trainee will develop skills in supporting children’s learning and development, creating safe and nurturing environments, building positive relationships with children and families, supporting children’s health, safety and wellbeing, and planning meaningful learning experiences.
On completion, your trainee will have the qualification and practical experience needed to work as a qualified early childhood educator.
CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
For educators looking to further develop their skills and progress their career, ACCCO also supports Diploma-level training.
The Diploma helps educators build advanced skills in developing and implementing curriculum, supporting children’s development and wellbeing, leading quality early childhood practices, and mentoring and supporting other educators.

How much?
$350 is the fee for all eligible trainees. It’s called a student contribution fee, and can be paid by either student or employer. The ACT Government will cover the rest of your training costs if the trainee is eligible.
There are no hidden or additional fees.

Who is Eligible
A trainee maybe eligible if they:
Work for an ACT employer with a physical workplace address in the ACT (not a PO Box) and this is your usual worksite
Are aged 15 years or older
Are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand passport holder living in Australia for more than six months, or an eligible visa holder
Are paid for your work
Complete at least 15 hours a week of combined work and training
Are undertaking an approved Australian Apprenticeships qualification with a registered training organisation listed on the ACT Qualifications Register
Have the required supervision in your workplace for an Australian Apprentice

In most cases, traineeships are available for new employees joining your service. Eligibility requirements can vary, so please refer to the Fees and Eligibility sections of this page for more information.

Yes. You can enrol as many trainees with ACCCO as your service requires. Whether you're supporting one trainee or building a pipeline of future educators across multiple services, our team can help you manage the enrolment and training process from start to completion.
When you partner with ACCCO, you receive:
- A dedicated trainer and assessor.
- Monthly workplace visits.
- Regular trainee progress updates.
- Ongoing support from our team.
Your trainee receives ongoing support throughout their qualification, including:
- Monthly workplace visits from their ACCCO Trainer for coaching, mentoring and workplace assessment
- Practical support and feedback to help them continue progressing
- Assessment completed by ACCCO Trainers, including workplace observations and evidence collection
- Flexible online learning with progress monitoring and ongoing support
Your dedicated Trainer and Assessor conducts monthly workplace visits for coaching, observation and assessment.
These regular visits ensure your trainee receives ongoing guidance and your service stays connected throughout the traineeship.
No. ACCCO Trainers and Assessors complete all required workplace observations during monthly visits to your service.
Your team does not need to assess trainees or sign off assessment tasks. Our trainers collect assessment evidence, observe workplace skills and provide feedback to support your trainee's progress.
This reduces the administrative burden on your educators and allows them to focus on providing quality care and education.
ACCCO manages the training and assessment process, including workplace observations during monthly trainer visits.
Your role is to provide your trainee with opportunities to practise their skills in your service and support their workplace learning.

What is an Apprenticeship Connect Australia Provider? And why do I need one?
Apprentice Connect Australia Providers are a free national service for apprentices and employers. They are experts on apprenticeships and can give you tailored advice for your situation.
You can’t hire and start a trainee without an Apprentice Connect Australia Provider.
They will help handle tasks such as finalising your training contract, and guide you to understand which incentives you could claim.
