We have some of the best training facilities and utilise a variety of learning techniques that will help you to learn more easily in a fun, stimulating and interactive environment. Our courses have been designed to give you all the hands-on skills and leading industry training to begin practising as an early childhood educator with a highly rewarding career.
All classes are delivered by qualified, industry experienced Trainer Assessors who work closely with students to optimise their learning experience. We simulate activities and tasks that are required to be performed within the workplace so that students gain confidence before working in an early education centre or service. Students will attend class two days per week at the college and attend one day per week at an ACECQA approved early childhood service for Vocational Placement (VP). There are also various days set for excursions, guest speakers, art & craft days and block Vocational Placement. Please contact ACCCO for classroom timetables.

Class Hours: Thursday & Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm
Duration: Full Time: 28 weeks
Vocational Placement: Vocational Placement will be no less than 120 hours spread over the duration of the qualification. Actual hours completed is dependent on student capability.

Vocational placement
All students need to be employed or volunteering in an ACECQA approved early childhood service to complete the practical components of their qualification. The ACCCO Trainer Assessor may be able to support you to arrange this placement if you don't already have one. Students enjoy regular contact with their Trainer Assessor who works at an individual level, visiting them in the approved workplace regularly, to progress them through the course.
