We have some of the best training facilities and utilise a variety of learning techniques that will help you to learn more easily in a fun, stimulating and interactive environment. Our courses have been designed to give you all the hands-on skills and leading industry training to begin practising as an early childhood educator with a highly rewarding career.
Structured classroom learning
All classes are delivered by qualified, industry experienced Trainer Assessors who work closely with students to optimise their learning experience. We simulate activities and tasks that are required to be performed within the workplace so that students gain confidence before working in an early education centre or service. Students will attend class two days per week at the college and attend one day per week at an ACECQA approved early childhood service for Vocational Placement (VP). There are also various days set for excursions, guest speakers, art & craft days and block Vocational Placement.
Classroom courses available
Students will attend class two days per week at college, and one day per week in an ACECQA approved early childhood service.
Class Hours: Thursday & Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm
Duration: Full Time: 28 weeks
Vocational Placement: Vocational Placement will be no less than 120 hours spread over the duration of the qualification. Actual hours completed is dependent on student capability.

We have Flexible payment plans available which allow studnets to pay off their qualification over weekly, fortnightly or monthly repayments.You may also be eligible for State Government funding, depending on circumstance. If a person is eligible for funding under Certificate 3 Guarantee or Higher Level Skills Program, the Queensland Government will subsidise the costs of their accredited training, although a student contribution fee will be required.
The VET Student Loans (VSL) program is a Commonwealth Government loan available to help eligible students pay their tuition fees. The loan is issued by the Australian Government to make higher education more accessible, by removing the burden of upfront tuition fees. Read more
Vocational Placement
All students need to be employed or volunteering in an ACECQA
approved early childhood service to
complete the practical components of their qualification. The ACCCO Trainer Assessor may be able to support you to arrange this

Our state of the art, contemporary Fortitude Valley campus offers a creative and stimulating learning environment featuring spacious modern classrooms with current industry resources, audio visual equipment, student computer lab, wireless network, commercial kitchen facilities, access to the college’s resources, including reference material. We are continuously adding to the range of resources to ensure that they are current. There are also public libraries run by the Brisbane City council which students can access.
Our Brisbane Campus is on Brunswick Street Fortitude Valley, just off St Pauls Terrace. Centrally located near business and lifestyle precincts with nearby transport networks and opportunities for part-time work whilst studying.
Coming By Public Transport?
If you’re travelling by public transport, the journey from Brisbane CBD is roughly 15 min. Hop on the 375 bus at Adelaide street heading toward Stafford City, exiting at Brunswick Street and St Pauls Terrace. From there it’s just a 1-minute walk to the Brunswick Street Campus. Fortitude Valley train station is also conveniently located within a five-minute walk to the college which make for a hassle-free commute to classes.
Brisbane full time students receive a 50% discount on local public transport and 25% discount on CityCycle bike hire. There’s also a free CityHopper ferry to jump between the city, South Bank and Kangaroo Point.
