Study VET courses on campus with ACCCO. If you choose to study on campus, you will be required to attend classes at your local ACCCO campus in your region. We have some of the best training facilities and utilise a variety of learning techniques that will help you to learn more easily in a fun, stimulating and interactive environment. All training is delivered in an adult learning environment so you’ll get to experience what it’s like to study in a higher education setting. Get a hands-on learning approach by interacting with your teachers, fellow students and practical materials.

Delivery Method
The courses are delivered in a face-to-face group based environment with weekly classroom sessions at
ACCCO training facilities. All classes are delivered by qualified, industry experienced Trainer Assessors who work closely with students to
optimise their learning experience, as well as attend an ACECQA approved education and care service to receive practical training and
experience. Vocational placement hours are in addition to theory class attendance. We simulate activities and tasks that are required
to be performed within the workplace so that students gain confidence before working in an early education centre or service.
What can I study with ACCCO?
(but will be focusing on Children’s Services) – pre-vocational course
This qualification is an entry level qualification designed for people who are looking for skills for working with children in the community. This may be used as a pathway for workforce entry as a community services worker providing first point of contact and assisting individuals in meeting their immediate needs and also provides a pathway for students who wish to complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at a later date.

Vocational Hours: | Students are required to complete between 40 – 80 hours of practical placement |
Commencement: | 2 intakes per year 1st Semester (Term 1 and 2) and 3rd Semester (Term 3 and 4) |
Employment Opportunities: |
Nannying, au pair and other private arrangements for childcare • Activity and/or care programs, including playgroups, play centres, resorts, gyms, shopping centres • Coaching and tuition |
On completion of this qualification, you can gain 6 credits into the CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care to continue your education career. This will mean you will only need to complete 12 more units for the Certificate III qualification.
ACCCO’s Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care program prepares students interested in working with children under 5 for employment in the Early Education Sector such as in childcare, long day care, family day care, kindergartens. Students achieve skills planning and delivering educational programs that focus on supporting children's wellbeing, learning and development. It is the minimum qualification to gain employment in ACECQA approved early childhood services and often the qualification studied for those wanting to begin their career in early childhood education.
Graduates will be able to use their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

On completion of this qualification, you can gain credit (between 11-13 units) into the CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care to continue your education career. This will shorten the duration of your Diploma course and also reduce the fees.
Education Support qualifications will qualify you to work as a teacher's aide or in after-hours school care. The Certificate III in Education Support is an ideal qualification for people seeking employment in education roles which provides assistance and support to qualified Educators and Teachers. It is a versatile qualification leading the graduate to work in a range of diverse education environments including schools, kindergartens, preschools, early childhood, school age care or other education environment in entry level positions.

On completion of this qualification with ACCCO, you can use the qualification to gain credit into other qualifications including: CHC40213 Certificate IV in Education Support, CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood and Care, CHC40113 Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care, CHC50213 Diploma of School Age Education and Care.
Costs vary depending on the course and study mode. Students undertaking a nationally-recognised qualification at as part of their senior studies may be eligible for substantially reduced or, in some cases, no tuition fees at all in some State / Territories.
