ACECQA has determined that registered/accredited Primary Teachers can be recognised as an 'equivalent Early Childhood Teacher' if they also complete a CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
This Early Childhood Teacher Bridging Program (ECTBP) has been
developed by the Department of Education (DET) to assist with this requirement allowing registered Primary School Teachers to have as many
of their skills and knowledge recognised as possible. Through the ECTBP, eligible students only complete training and assessment in areas
that haven't been completed as part of their Primary Teacher qualification. Further information can found on the ACECQA
website.
CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Primary Teachers are eligible to enrol in the ECTBP if they hold all of the following:
ACECQA will also use the above to determine eligibility as an equivalent Early Childhood Teacher.
For all information regarding ACECQA's recognition, please see: http://www.acecqa.gov.au/Recognition-as-an-equivalent-early-childhood-teacher
If a person is eligible for funding under the Teacher Bridging Program, the Queensland Government will subsidise the costs of their accredited training, although a student contribution fee will be required.

Credit transfer (sometimes known as advanced standing) is awarded when a student has completed the units required for a qualification at another Registered Training Organisation. This may reduce the amount of time it will take you to gain a qualification, and reduce the overall cost. ACCCO provides credit transfer free of charge. Read more
Students can choose to pay up to $1500 of their student contribution fees upfront at enrolment. Further payments of up to $1500 can be made at later stages of a student's enrolment. ACCCO accepts the following payment methods:
Students can choose to enter into a payment plan arrangement to pay off their student contribution fees in smaller amounts over a period of time.
Students entering into an ACCCO payment plan have the option of fortnightly or monthly payments. Students with contributions fees of over $1500 can also request a weekly payment plan.
Payment plans require an initial upfront payment towards their student contribution fees to set up the plan, and then each payment period a recurring payment amount is direct debited from the student's nominated account.
Students are given recurring payment amount options when setting up their plan.
Example plans are given below.
|
Total Student Contribution Fees |
Upfront Payment Amount | Recurring Payment Details |
| $500.00 | $50.00 | $25.00 x 18 fortnightly payments |
| $800.00 | $100.00 | $50.00 x 14 monthly payments |
| $4630.00 | $310.00 | $80 x 54 weekly payments |

Please contact our enrolments team on 1300 139 406 to discuss payment options applicable to you.
Students that are not receiving any funding for their course can choose to pay as they go. This is where a student will pay the fees for
