School Age Education and Care

School Age Education and Care qualifications (sometimes known as outside school hours care qualifications) prepare students for employment in regulated care services such as before and after school care, as well as vacation care. It is also a popular qualification for those working in recreation and leisure programs for children of school age

During these qualifications, students learn the roles and responsibilities to be employed in the job role, and undertake work placement so they will gain experience in the industry, whilst acquiring the knowledge and skills to work at this level.
