Ruby and Coral are qualified Group Leaders and Directors. They have worked in child care for 10 years, after school/ vacation care, nanning/babysitting, occasional care, long day care and Montessori. Currently coordinating in Family Day Care and totally enjoy their new role as coordinators.
In October 2006 the sisters found the necessity for smaller more personal home based child care, and launched their co-ordination unit that is now based in Nambour. The girls established the family day care scheme in March 07. They created the family day care scheme to provide parents with a wonderful, safe secure service which allows children to obtain quality childcare in small groups in the home based environment, with qualified carers.
The girls commenced their scheme with 3 child care operators and enjoyed their first birthday this year in March. Family day Care Providers C & R Cowling-Scaife has now grown to include 20+ home based child care business operations and growing at a rapid rate of knots.
The girls are very proud to have been Finalist for 2008 Small Business Champions Awards.
