ACCCO holds a Board position with Health & Community Services (H&CS) Workforce Council


Congratulations to ACCCO’s CEO, Narelle Cossettini for being elected as a
member of the Board for the Health and Community Services (H&CS) Workforce Council.

Narelle’s successful nomination was supported by a number of leading industry representatives which is indicative of industry’s respect and acknowledgement of her knowledge, experience, commitment and drive for quality outcomes for our communities.

The Mission of the Health and Community Services Workforce Council is to provide leadership in the promotion of workforce and skills development in the Health and Community Services industry in order to underpin a sustainable future for Queensland. The Purpose of the Health and Community Services Workforce Council is to contribute to the quality of life and community wellbeing of Queenslanders by:

  • creating alliances, collaboration and connections that enhance credibility;
  • being a voice to influence government, Industry, work and training policy; and
  • creating opportunities for community skilling through developing the capacity and quality of the workforce

The H&CS Workforce Council Board hosts a number of consultative forums across the state each year to ensure that our members and stakeholders are playing a key role in guiding the strategic direction of the Health and Community Services Workforce Council.
