ACCCO hosts a variety of workshops and in-service training to support the needs of the children's services educators.

After arranging our first workshop with ACCCO, I was concerned at how the session may be received. However I was soon to learn my concerns were unfounded. Fifty -four staff from five centres attended and were truly inspired by ACCCO’s 'Invitations to Play'.They left with a renewed energy, images for their rooms, new ideas and renewed enthusiasm. Thank-you ACCCO for a inspirational evening.

All training uses up to date industry information and is linked to legislative requirements.
Training is conducted by ACCCO's qualified, friendly, experienced and impartial staff.
Directors workshops held regularly to support Directors in their role
Be trained at our office, or ` at your children's service service (minimum numbers apply)

Each workshop costs $25.00 per person with a minimum of 16 educators. Cost includes 2 hour workshop, presenter, handouts and certificates

Being a Regional Manager for Childcare Centre’s I visit many rooms across a variety of ages and I have noticed that the majority seem to have lost the “WOW” factor e.g. would I like to stay here all day? So along with many staff I attended the “Invitations for Play” workshop facilitated by Judi Cooke and I along with all the staff, was thoroughly invigorated, excited, motivated etc, this was just what I was looking for. Driving 3 staff home afterwards my car was alight with great excitement! One comment said it all “how simple things can be to make such a difference”
