Position Qualification
Child Care Assistant Must hold a Certificate III in Children's Services or be studying towards this qualification
Child Care Group Leader Must hold a Diploma in Children's Services or be studying towards this qualification
Child Care Centre Director Must hold an Advanced Diploma of Children's Services or be studying towards this qualification

Child Care Course progression for job advancement
1. Complete 15 units in the Certificate in Children's Service;
2. The Certificate III is required to enrol in the Diploma of Children's Service. A further 20 units is required to complete the Diploma;
3. The Diploma is required to enrol in the Advanced Diploma. A further 20 units are required to complete the Advanced Diploma.
